Your job

As an Operational Chain Manager within IT Operations Consumer & Digital, you improve IT availability, performance and the customer experience. You translate customer needs into process improvements, connect Operations, Tech Units, Value Streams and Business, and monitor the progress of new initiatives and tactical solutions. During the first year, there will also be a strong focus on structurally resolving and managing vulnerabilities within the Consumer & Digital domain.

What you bring

You are a collaborative professional who thinks end-to-end and can easily switch between Operations, Tech Units, Security, suppliers and business owners. You know how to identify customer needs clearly, translate them into concrete improvements, and bring people together across teams and functions. With your analytical mindset, process knowledge and focus on results, you improve efficiency, operational quality and customer satisfaction in a dynamic telecom environment. You also understand the importance of security in daily operations and can contribute to prioritising, following up on and sustainably resolving vulnerabilities.

Job requirements

Experience with end-to-end chain management and service management.
Experience with capacity management and portfolio management is a plus.
Knowledge of business process re-engineering and process optimisation.
Experience working across Operations, Technology, Value Streams and Business.
Customer-focused, with the ability to translate customer needs into concrete improvement actions.
Experience with security, vulnerability management and/or working in a security-driven environment is a plus.
Experience with supplier management is a plus.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

The location for this role is Maastricht. As relevant stakeholders are also based in Utrecht, you are expected to travel to Utrecht from time to time.
