This is what you do for our customer
The purpose of our Technical Architect is that you Plan, Design and Engineer Converged Networks, guaranteeing the highest level of quality, availability and robustness to meet customer expectations in his/her domain. You drive the evolution of Networks according to technologies and new requirements, which secure the node dimensioning and/or lifecycle management by constantly looking for optimization and improvement opportunities.
As an integral part of the team, you share the same vision as the rest of the team, a vision which assures the correct implementation.
This is how you do it
You are accountable for the planning & design of your area.
You work cross-functional, self-driven, demonstrate an E2E view and seek/arrange technical delivery alignment with other technology parties to assure the required evolution of the technology area during the lifecycle of E2E network solutions and network components.
You take responsibility for the overall technical solution/direction of your Object(s) or Domain and need to assure that it will stay open for changes that can be implemented in a technically excellent and cost-effective way. This requires skills in predicting and anticipating on these requirements and having strategies and plans in place.
In order to find the most appropriate architecture for your Object(s) or Domain, you shouldn’t only be focussed on determining the business goals and requirements but also on clarifying the functional requirements as performance, scalability, compatibility, security, auditing, diagnostic & logging, failover and disaster recovery.
In addition to proper design, it is also important to take care of operational and infrastructure aspects by collaborating with Project Managers, Network Operations/Incident Managers.

Core Engineering is part of Network Mobile, which is one of the five Technology pillars within our VodafoneZiggo organisation.
We are a team of 13 highly motivated & enthusiastic professionals with a strong future oriented drive where team working and knowledge sharing is key to their success. We cover all the mobile Core Network related nodes with respect to Signalling, Voice and Data.
