Operational Readiness Managers contribute to customer service experience by assuring operational readiness for 24x7 support teams in Technology N&IT Operations for any project delivery that will fall into responsibility of Technology Network and IT operations of VodafoneZiggo.
This is how you do it
- Managing project overview impacting operations by:
- Organizing and chair weekly ORM project intake meetings.
- Assessing and verify the potential impact of total project influx to operations.
- Pro-actively informing key stakeholders regarding operational impact of new and modified project scopes and their related ORM involvement.
- Translating key project deliverables into fundamental non-functional operations requirements, manage possible scope changes with project team and customers. Identify, intervene and negotiate in project specific impediments during project life cycle.
- Managing handover from Project to N&IT Operations support departments: Monitor and verify acceptance of non-functional requirements (NFR) delivery. Identify deviations in the NFR delivery and intervene a solid solution in cooperation with project and customers. Escalate to project management or management when necessary.
- Manage alignment between architecture roadmaps and operations’ needs: Gather European Network and IT roadmaps to translate into Operations high level requirements. Assure the operational high level requirements (e.g. costs, resilience, robustness) are taken into account in network and IT long-term evolution plans. Ensure operational business readiness in case of newly introduced technologies.
- Continuous process improvement: Pro-active attitude regarding improvement of internal processes and applying lessons learnt. Identify process interface mismatches at multiple departments on several levels and to propose solutions in order to improve efficiency. Excel in a durable far-reaching customer satisfaction.
The operational readiness management team (ORM), the ORM team currently consists of 10 members lead by Manager Service Introduction Management. Manager Service Introduction Management directly reports to the Sr Mgr of Technology N&IT operations Operational Chain Management and Operational Readiness (OCM/ORM).

You’ve got what it takes
You’re able to understand concepts, summarize and put into action. Assuring operational readiness for 24x7 support teams in Technology operations when projects implement deliverables. For this vacancy of Operational Readiness manager at VodafoneZiggo, you also have:
- University degree or University of applied sciences or 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational telecoms company
- Prince2 or IPMA certified
- ITIL v3 certified
- Understanding of fixed, mobile and converged telecommunication network architectures;
- Excellent communication of the Dutch and English languages (written and spoken);
- Experienced in working in an outsourced and out tasked organisations setup
- Knowledge of business process design.
