Where does the Data leads us next?
That’s a question our data scientists and business intelligence analysts try to answer daily. There is no ultimate answer because data can point us in many directions at once, depending on the subset or business domain we zoom in on. So it’s up to us (and the business!) to decide which data should be followed, e.g. because they add most customer-value. Does that sound exciting? If you enroll in the Discover traineeship, you’ll not only help us deliver on (big) data’s (big) promises, but will also discover what makes you tick, both as a person and as a data-minded high-potential.

Your traineeship: the fast track to a challenging career
Lots of impact, growth opportunities and lots of fun. That’s what the Discover traineeship is all about. As a Discover trainee, you’ll complete three different projects during your-traineeship. In this one-and-a-half-year program, you’ll discover who you are, what you’re capable of, where you want to be, and how you can get there with us. You’ll set your own course. This is what makes your traineeship unique.

Are you our new Discover trainee? This is what you bring to the table:

  • A ‘minty fresh’ Master’s degree in for example Data Science, Computational Science, Econometrics, Innovation Sciences, Industrial Engineering & Management, Management of Technology, Information Studies, Electrical Engineering, Business Information Management
  • Analytical prowess is a must: you already know your way around data, can think fast, fathom complex processes, and are quick to find your bearings. In systems. And in organizations
  • You're available to start on September 1st, 2021 and are graduating before the start date
  • You have a digital mindset and broad interests, love to accelerate change, and are a natural-born team player who is open to everything and everyone
  • You’re ambitious, want to make a difference for customers, are a fount of ideas and eager to act on them
  • You are equally passionate about devising strategies and thinking through how to roll them out
  • Your CV lists more than just grades; you’ve already made a difference during your studies
  • English is a must, Dutch is a nice-to-have
  • You are adaptive and can adjust plans on the fly if situations change

Our application process is a true online experience and knows different steps. For sure is that we will get to know each other better!

Step 1. Online assessment which consists of: a brain game, personality test, a situational judgment game and a video pitch. This will take up 1,5 hours of your time, you do not have to finish everything in one round. Keep in mind that the team will start reviewing all applications once the vacancy is closed (May 3rd, 2021). You will hear back from us latest May 21st, 2021.

Step 2. Did we select you? You will be invited to complete an online Occupational Personality Questionnaire where we dive deeper into your drivers, this questionnaire gives us good insights into your development potential as well.

Step 3. If we are positive about the outcome of your Occupational Personality Questionnaire you will be invited for a digital OPQ interview with the business. These interviews take place between May 25th, 2021, and June 3rd, 2021.

Step 4. Passed? Congratulations! We’re inviting you for a fully digital Assessment Day on the 23rd of June, 2021.
