The supply chain team is responsible for the end to end supply chain of all hardware sold with a mobile subscription. As a large player in the Dutch telecom market we are ordering a large amount of products every year. It is crucial to our business that we have the products available when the customers wishes to purchase them, that we aren’t left with unsold products.

What you’ll do
This role will be responsible for the Demand & Supply planning of all mobile phones and accessories. Based on the input from marketing and sales channels you will produce a demand planning using sales trends, competitive analysis and market trends and transform this into a purchase plan. Being part of an international team requires delivery of frequent reports on progress targets and objectives, market analysis, SLA’s and KPI’s.  In order to improve future planning it’s important to use historical data, statistical forecasting methods and market intelligence to come up with the best possible forecast.

  • Supply plans, ensure on time deliveries, delivery and service quality and stock availability
  • Create weekly sales, stock & market analysis reports to support management teams
  • Manage the supply chain relationship with hardware suppliers
  • Consult with other departments, such as Marketing, Finance and Sales
  • Control the life cycle management and slow moving products

What we ask
To get the best balance between demand and supply the demand specialist will liaise with several stakeholders as finance, marketing, sales and suppliers. The ability to communicate well and manage stakeholders is a crucial skill for this role. In order to be successful in this position the right candidate possesses a unique combination of commercial abilities paired with excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain and demand planning
  • Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Supply Chain or similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with demand forecasting and S&OP planning, preferably in a Retail/FMCG environment
