As a Chapter Lead you are passionate about relentless improvement, engineering excellence and unleashing human potential. Within the new Digital Engineering Tribe your main purpose is to support all Tribe members in their personal growth.

This is how you do it 
The Chapter Lead is an engineering-savvy people manager who is responsible for supporting the performance and development of the Squad members belonging to the Chapter. You champion excellence! You coordinate knowledge sharing and improved interactions between roles within the Chapter and across Tribes. You are responsible for all staffing within the tribe (both external and internal) and driving/supporting the development of all skills of your chapter members. You have a line management responsibility. You help stimulate innovation.

As a Chapter lead you also stimulate sharing best practices amongst chapter members. You make sure the Squads get the skills and seniority needed in the Squads to reach their purpose and you align with the Tribe Lead, Scrummasters and RTE about that. You will source the professionals of the Tribe, assuring high quality, leading in the industry by training and recruitment together with HR.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• HBO/WO Technical Education and 5+ years of leadership experience
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT software development.
• Multiple years experience in Agile way of working
• Change experience and strong coaching skills
